About

Song Sparrow Hall is an intimate concert hall, event space and studio at 180 Lakeshore Drive NW in downtown Salmon Arm, just steps from the waterfront. It is the home venue of the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society — the volunteer society behind the Salmon Arm ROOTSandBLUES festival — which presents a year-round concert series here spanning folk, roots, blues, Celtic and world music. With just under 200 seats, high ceilings, warm wood finishes and modern sound and lighting, the hall puts every listener close to the stage, and touring artists regularly praise its acoustics. The space also hosts community events, celebrations and studio rentals between shows.

The sound here is great and the owner is super helpful in getting things set up well for an event. I was a speaker at the business forum and it was an easy experience to do sound check and get set up to use all of the AV equipment.

Amazing and inspiring concert with Kim Churchill and Mia Kelly. We travel up from Penticton to catch the music at this lovely venue.

Fantastic acoustics and a cozy but spacious seating. No bad place to see and hear the fullness of the performers.

A lovely community venue in which to enjoy a folk music troubador. Unfortunately our seats near the emergency exit were subject to an incoming winter draft - which indicates the HVAC system fans weren't running to pressurize the building, as it should be with an audience of 200+ people in attendance.

It's a cool older building with a nice small balcony to watch over events. I went and watched this deadly local band called The Hillties play at this venue. They had great quality of sound, great space and if any bands are looking for a good venue in Salmon Arm, look to the Song Sparrow Hall.
